Franklin Graham's Departure

During a recent interview with Franklin Graham son of Billy Graham, concerning some Christian groups who plan to preach the gospel in China during the Olympics, Graham said he was against that because Chinese law did not permit such actions. He was quoted saying, "I would not support any illegal activity at all".

Perhaps Mr. Graham needs to remember the following passage: Acts 5:26-29

26. Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

27. And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

28. Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

29. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

When the preaching of the gospel is illegal shouldn't you obey God rather than man? Franklin is supporting a position that is clearly against the word of God. This is another sign of the times.
